So, it is now near the end of March. Have we seen the last of the snow until the end of the year? If so our gardens will probably not be graced with the presence of our winter Thurush visitors…..Redwing and Fieldfare until next winter. In the meantime here are a few from my Attleborough garden earlier in the month.

Alvin has forwarded these two pictures taken whilst on the Weddington Walk. A lovely portrait of a Chiffchaff and an interesting picture of a Blackbird sunning itself.
Here are a couple of pictures of birds in the apple tree at the rear of my house. I have a number of feeders at eye level about 18-20 feet away when shooting out of my back bedroom window. I use a telescopic fishing landing net pole to lift them into position. (P.L.)

This Chaffinch and Goldfinch were taken in my garden before the first leaves of Spring. (P.L.)
How about circles for a change, let me know what you think of the layout. Should it be random photo’s or uniform tiled like above or individual as all below. The pictures of the Sedge Warbler, Heron, Willow Warbler and G.C. Grebe with a large Roach were taken at Brandon Marsh in May of this year. (P.L.)
A very young and late Goldfinch taken by Alvin on 13/12/2015. Surely the last brood of the year.
